About Allan:
Allan Palmer is a PGA Professional who has been teaching at the Presidio Golf Course since 2015. Allan was born and raised in San Francisco and attended college at SF State. He is very passionate about the game of golf and cares a lot about teaching and sharing the game with others.
Allan works with players of all ages and skill levels, from beginners who have never touched a club before to skilled players trying to refine their technique. He worked as the Assistant Golf Coach for San Francisco’s University High School from 2018-2022, and as an instructor for the PGA Hope Veterans program since it began at Presidio in the Fall of 2015.
Allan understands the stresses of learning a new skill, and the self-consciousness that can come from group lessons. He offers one-on-one private lessons and semi-private group lessons. His mission for his lessons is to pass on his love for the game, inspire his students to constantly strive to be better players, and break down the game to make it fun for everyone. He believes that by focusing on fundamentals, reaching a player’s goals, and having players be able to look back at their swings, the lessons can help improve their game.
